Hayley, Paul and the boys welcome you to their guest house, a special place to stay in York; a distinctive Edwardian residence, where a more friendly accommodation is hard to find.
At the Hollies you can be assured of high standards of comfort and cleanliness. The owners pride themselves in offering superb breakfasts, with individual diets catered for.
The house is situated within easy walking distance of the city centre, via the picturesque riverside promenade.
The Hollies has recently undergone extensive refurbishment to provide the comforts of modern living, yet retaining the original features of the house. Whilst no 2 letting rooms are the same - each have their own style and decor. In each room you can expect the same high standard of cleanliness, hospitality and service throughout your stay.

All children are welcome. All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All children from 5 to 16 years are charged GBP 35.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

The Hollies is well known for its comfortable, relaxed and friendly service. All spacious en suite rooms have been completely renovated and refurbished. Each of the rooms has its own individual theme. The beds are extremely comfortable and boast individual designer fabrics, stylish furnishings and attention to detail.

A newly refurbished large family room consisting of a double bed, a single bed
A large, quiet room at the back of the guesthouse. Includes a king size double bed and a single bed. Newly refurbished and large en suite. Now has a flat screen tv with Freeview.
An elegant beautifully decorated four poster room with a flat-screen Freeview TV and iPod docking station/alarm clock. The room also includes an en suite shower room.

This peaceful double room is set at the back of the guesthouse on the second floor. With a romantic feel, the room features a seating area and en suite bathroom.
A bright, large ground floor double room that has good wheel-chair access.
Breakfast is served in the newly decorated Breakfast Room. Each table having the room name on it. Breakfast served 8am to 8.45am weekdays. 8Am until 9am at weekends.
By Car
The Hollies is situated on the A19 road (York - Selby); the main approach to the city from the South.
From the South:
- Using the A1(M), take the A64 to York, then the A19.
- Approaching the city, we are 100 metres past the 3rd set of traffic lights on the right-hand side of the road.
From the North:
- Using the A1(M) take the A59 to York.
- At the A1237, turn right.
- At the A64, turn left and drive for 2 miles.
- At the A19, follow directions as above.
